Lauren Marlborough is the newest member of the Omega Alpha Team and comes to the company with many years of animal health experience and a strong science background. She graduated from Lakehead University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and pursued a post-graduate degree from Brock University with Honours in Biological Sciences. She continues to extend her education background and is currently enrolled in the Equine Science Certificate program through the University of Guelph. Lauren’s wish to pursue a career in health and the therapeutic aspects of science derived from her keen devotion towards animals. She has had the privilege of caring for a variety of animals but has always had a passion for horses. Lauren has been an avid horsewoman for 15 years, riding, training and competing in the Hunter/Jumper discipline as well as working within the equine market. In addition to her work with horses, Lauren has worked at an animal shelter, several small animal veterinary practices and pet retail stores. Lauren’s role at Omega Alpha as the Equine Division Account Manager allows her to answer consumers' and retailers' equine questions knowledgably. Outside of work Lauren enjoys spending time with her many pets and riding her horse Britannia as often as possible.
