Joelle Lyew earned her Honours Bachelor's of Science degree at the University of Toronto and continued her education with a Masters degree in Botany specializing in Cell Biology of Plant Structure and Function And Evolutionary Plant Morphology. She is an accomplished lab researcher and has published articles in various publications such as the American Journal of Botany and the Omega Alpha newsletter Essential Living.
