Education: Baccalaureate Degree in a Health Science is Preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 Years Preferred
Position Summary: The Demonstration Consultant provides knowledge of Omega Alpha products and their ingredients (botanical, vitamin and mineral) to consumers through demonstrations at various retail or other public locations. The consultant may also provide product training to our customers’ retail staff or specialists. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate product features, ability to summarize a broad amount of information into key points, general knowledge of natural health products and ingredients, and fluency in spoken and written English. This would suit someone located in London with an ability to travel to Windsor, Sarnia and Woodstock and surrounding areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares content for demonstrations of Omega Alpha products and their ingredients and effectively communicates product features. • Tailors on-site or public demonstrations to meet customer requirements as needed. • Responds to inquiries from retail managers about participation in staff training and sets demonstration appointments.
Desired Professional experience: Hands-on experience as a demonstration consultant in health food stores is preferred. • Similar demonstration or sales experience will also be considered.
Working Conditions: Travel to and from demonstration engagements is required. Business casual attire. Work environment is normally on-site at customer locations. Most demonstrations are held on weekdays and Saturdays and may include evenings.
Working Hours: 15 to 25 hours per week.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour plus travel expenses. All other training and supplies are provided.
