ANNOUNCES A PRODUCT RECALL OF KIDNEY FLUSH TORONTO, ON – April 28, 2011 – Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals Inc. of Toronto, Ontario, announces a recall in Canada of Kidney Flush. Omega Alpha is recalling ALL LOTSof Kidney Flush due to the omission of cautionary and warning statements on the product label. It may pose a Type I risk to pregnant women and people with kidney disease. It may cause temporary adverse reactions to some members of the general public (Type II risk). This recall involves all Kidney Flush sold at retail under the Omega Alpha brand. The product can be identified by its UPC code 826913121805 and as per the attached image.  To arrange for return of the product, consumers can return the product to the store where purchased for a full refund, or contact this toll free number 1-800-651-3172 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday for more information on this recall.
